After read Magical Miles Stones' post about some special child, it remind me that indeed every children are special, even with some 'abnormality' such as ADHD ( attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), Autism, Blindness etc.

Did you know that Michael Phelps, the Water Monster, the best swimmer in the world who got himself 8 gold medal from Beijing Olympic, broke the world record and nominated as the best Olympian, used to be a 'out of control child' who suffered ADHD?
His mother, Debbie Phelps, said he was so hyperactive and never able to stop himself that even his school teacher told her that her son will never success because his disability to concentrate in his lesson.
Lucky for little Michael, Debbie believed that there was someway to channeling his boy's excessive energy and she found out that 'swimming pool' was the answer. Little Michael was trained at North Baltimore Aquatic Club on age 11, since then, he changed, from little pest who always messed up swimming pool to the best swimmer in the world.

Oscar Pistorius' legs were amputated when he was 1 year old but he never give up,instead he runs on shock-absorbing carbon-fiber prosthetics that resemble bent skis, earning him the nickname "Blade Runner."
Pistorius, a Paralympic Games champion won gold in the 200 meters, and bronze in the 100 meters at the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens. He holds the Paralympic world records in the 100, 200, and 400 meters.
Since Athens, he has competed in two able-bodied races in which he finished second and last, respectively.
Pistorius was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1986, with five digits on each hand and two toes on each tiny foot. Each leg was missing its fibula, the long, thin bone that anchors the calf muscle and forms the outside of the ankle. His parents had a choice: consign their child to a wheelchair or amputate his lower legs and let him learn to walk with prosthetics.

In Indonesia, there is a successful blind blogger who blog with regular laptop and able to type very fast, and create a guidelines book for other blind people. He's so independent and if you didn't look at him carefully, you would never know that he's blind.

The success key of all this special people are their parents who give them non-stop supports and loves, always encouraged them and lifted their spirits.
So, U agree, right, that every children are special......All depend on us, the parents, how to mold them and how to teach them to be independent and to be successful in their own live and for the society.
